OH, SH!T! You mean you haven't seen The Saddest Music in the World?

In the depths of the Depression, a Canadian brewing baroness (Isabella Rossellini) promises a vat of beer to whatever international musician or band can play "the saddest music in the world."

whatever i was reading must have been dated, because it sounded like he had been doing this shit forever with no real big project ever occurring...with the saddest music in the world it looks like he finally broke through. i'd like to see it.

Saddest Music is still a pretty lo-budg, duct-taped-together affair -- I think he's just been able to attract folks like Isabella because they recognize Genius with a capital G.
