TRANSFORMERS movie

Author: Gtown Monkey

I just watched the TRANSFORMERS movie on DVD and
as a result either my IQ dropped 20-30 points
or I am now 10% dumberer. Thanks Michael Bay!

IRONMAN looks decent, though.

oh man...i haven't gotten bored (i mean BORED) in a movie theatre in YEARS, man...i took 2 pisses in that muhfucka just so i could get a change of scenery...i thought this movie was so bad. and i told everyone just as much the next day to surprised faces: "what??? i though it was (tony the tiger) grrrrrrreat!"

the whole story arc with the commando squad? why were they even in there? you coulda cut all those muthafuckas out. they served no point. the robots were wack, the story was wack, the fight scenes were wack, i dont even remember what happened in the movie man??

horrible, horrible...did you see rocky balboa yet? dude your boy sly looks like a ken doll. like on some shiny face, plastic reflection wearing a mask shit. so distracting...

i actually saw sly in the flesh outside the prince theatre at the premiere of rocky balboa. i just so happened to be walking by. his face looked super plastic in real life too. plus, as you all know, dude is shorter than a stack of pancakes. i got such a weird vibe off of him... unlike the time i saw mr. t at pat's steaks. that shit was truly awesome.

a friend Rory made this brilliant observation in an email in response to my mention of the TRANSFORMERS movie...

    "Happy Thangskivvin!

Just a quick word on Transformers before I head straight into the mouth of hell: I think that the action sequences should be considered experimental/abstract works completely independent of the narrative film. I've never seen such Brakhage-esque
anarchistic visuals in that commercial of a setting. Me thinks one M. Bay is trying to subvert us. Or plant subliminal messages to buy Skittles...

if your not familiar with the work of Stan Brakhage-
look for the criterion DVD collection of his work...
it's crazy experimental shit- lots of fast and chaotic hand painted, scratched and even moldy film frames. Dopeness!
